For some unknown reason some of you seem to like to know what’s going on in my life, so I’ll give you a brief update. Life has really changed lately. We bought a cut-work bed skirt for our main Bed and Breakfast Guestroom and it looks lovely. I thought it appeared even finer quality than in the Added Touch catalog. Well, a year ago, I would have manhandled that mattress all by myself and had that bed skirt arranged so trim and pretty in no time, but not now. My husband and one of the girls did the heavy work while I tried to make it lay nice and even. Well, for some reason that was even far too strenuous for me, so I had to lean against the wall more than once, completely wiped out.
Went to Emergency the other day, with all the classical symptoms; pain in chest, and in left shoulder, shortness of breath. You know what those things are hinting about. I didn’t trot out all the other problems I have been having the last week or two, like shortness of breath, extreme brain fogginess, sudden profuse sweating, blah, blah, blah, at least not most of them and not right away. Well they diligently did all sorts of tests, and put me on oxygen which sure was a relief immediately and even lessened the chest pressure after a while.
Well, I’m home now, because they couldn't prove it was my heart, although the doctor suspected it is/ was (what is the right word?). Low Key Lifestyle is the title after my name, now I guess. Sounds pretty sharp, eh? Marilyn Friesen LKL. Yesterday a friend was telling me about all the fall cleaning she was tackling. Please don’t tell her I have been finding it exhausting just doing our tiny pile of dishes and pushing the broom across the floor. Now that’s enough yipping about me, and while I have a mid (ahem) morning nap, you can tell me what’s going on in your life.
P.S. There was one unusual symptom. A large bruise on my right hand, and I don't even write with it!
