The Parable of the Canadian Thistle

“So what’s the big deal. I don’t know why everyone grippin’ and a complainin’ about my attitude. I’ll pluck it when I’m good an’ ready to.”

“Hey, Buddy, it’s a whole lot easier to deal with in the early stages. Don’t just pluck off the flowers ‘when you’re good and ready to’.  That will never do, and it’s got to be kinda painful.”
“Ha. That’s a good sign that I’m dealing with it, right? No pain, no gain, they say.”
“Better dig it out from the root, pal.  Those weeds multiply pretty quickly if they go to seed."

"Whoops! I'm in a bigger mess than I ever planned to be in!"
